Stuff about wrestling and Falwell
Ok so the purging of talent from the old ECW has begun. Vito and Sabu have been released. Rob Van Dam is reportedly on his way out and will be signing with TNA after his contract expires on June 4. Sabu previously worked for TNA so I think he will go back there. Vito, who knows? The guy has succeeded in WCW and ECW so he can be an asset.

Jerry Falwell died today. R.I.H., no I didn't mistype. Figure out what I mean. The holier than thou Falwell said that 9/11 was God's wrath and was caused by America's immorality highlighting acceptance of homosexuality as a root cause. He repeatedly made anti-homosexual comments, he defended the segragation of black and whites in this country and he defended Apartheid in Africa.

I would love, absolutely love if they found out he died of AIDS that he got from a male prostitute. They are reporting the cause as cardiac arrest but I would hope it was God's wrath for pretending to be his spokesman and endorsing hate. This is my problem with religion, people that use it to condone hate. It isn't just something that Muslims do.

Honestly any time some one dies I feel bad for their family members but I can't help feeling the same kind of ambivalence about his death as I had with Sadaam Hussein.

A few nice Falwell quotes:

"If Chief Justice Warren and his associates had known God’s word and had desired to do the Lord’s will, I am quite confident that the 1954 decision [Brown v. Board of Education] would never have been made…. The facilities should be separate. When God has drawn a line of distinction, we should not attempt to cross that line.”"

"I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way, all of them who have tried to secularize America. I point the finger in their face and say 'you helped this happen.'"

"AIDS is the wrath of a just God against homosexuals."

And now my quote about him...

"Fuck that dead motherfucker!!!".

RIP Diego Corralles
2 time Jr. Lightweight and 2 Lightweight Champ Diego "Chico" Corralles died tonight in Las Vegas. He was killed in a motorcycle accident. Corralles was a fan favorite for his guts and will. His epic battles with Joel Casamayor and Luis Castillo saw him down but never out of a fight. He had recently lost a fight against Joshua Clottey. Word on whether the 29 year old would fight again was highly anticipated as his fights were always action packed. Personally my favorite memory was seeing him rise from 2 knockdowns only to KO Luis Castillo to unify the lightweight title. He was an amazing athlete with an unmeasurable spirit. Rest in peace "Chico" and thank you for the memories. My best wishes go out to his family and friends.

Why my Thursday was better than yours

My friend works at Bookends in Ridgewood NJ and Mick was signing his new book, The Hardcore Diaries, so guess who had his 1st seat in line for signings reserved?

Seems like it's going to be a real good book so far.

He looked exactly the same and was very funny. His impression of Vince is dead on balls; it was tremendous. There was a fuck up when I actually went to get Have a Nice Day signed because I think he was little put off on that I didn't want it personalized, but I was a little more concerned with the fact my son was too scared to come up to the table and the people at the store were a little pushy for me to hurry up, but overall, it was real cool to meet the man, I mus say.

Incase anyone was wondering…
I know that I haven’t made my presence felt in this site in about a month, but Im still around. Nothing has really changed. I still check the site daily even if its just for two minutes to see what’s new. I just haven’t had the motivation to write anything that I felt would really contribute to the site in a way that Robb and all of you have come to expect from me. Does that mean that I have writers block? Not necessarily. Truth is like I have said many times before, usually I could write and rant about any nonsense since Im very opinionated.

I could have come over here and write a small column on Anna Nicole Smiths death or Britney Spears once being the fantasy of all men, but now is nothing more then a bald crazy ass women, but I didn’t. Instead believe it or not I recently joined the My Space band wagon and created an account there. Yep, this is the same My Space I have trashed before. A few of my cousins and some friends kept pushing me to make one again and I finally did. That shit is addicting too. If you would see my page you would quickly know that Im still passionate about Smallville and now “Heroes”. It has quickly become one of my favorite shows to watch. Usually I write a blog with my thoughts on those shows and if Im not doing that Im posting in a few forums that I have been apart of for a while now. That doesn’t mean I forgot this site though, it simply means I haven’t had anything to say. You all know that I use to post my thoughts on Smallville here, but I always felt like I was talking to myself, so I stopped. Sorry if the site has been abit in active lately. Wish I had a good reason for not contributing more this past month, but I don’t. Im just going to end this and say…I will try and make my presence known here abit more. Even if its just to write little things here in the blog section or to reply to any given posts. Hope all is well with you guys…

Mike Awesome Dead at 42
It seems like I wrote one of these things every week. Former ECW, WCW and WWE wrestler Mike Awesome was found dead of an apparent suicide. He was 42 years old.

Following a illustrious career in Japan and ECW Awesome defected to WCW and was added to the WWE roster when they bought the company. Despite this fact he was not around the WWE very long. Awesome left to pursue wrestling in Japan where he was known as "The Gladiator" and was a main eventer. He returned to the American spotlight with an appearance at the first ECW ONE NIGHT STAND against rival Masato Tanaka.

This is definately sad news for the wrestling world and for his fans of which I was a big one. He had recently announced that he was through with wrestling and apparently couldn't move forward with his life.

Aqua Teen Causes Terror Scare
In just about the most absurd story ever in the history of Homeland Security Boston officials were alerted to mysterious objects lurking around the city. The electronic devices showed an odd character pointing his middle finger and was lit up.

The device in question was an electronic poster of sorts akin to a "Light Bright" toy. The character was Ignignot from the cult series "Aqua Teen Hunger Force". Apparently the overreacting citizens of the world's worst city thought that a child's toy with a cartoon character was a bomb. Fucking retards must not have Cartoon Network. You have to be one paranoid bastard to confuse that device with a bomb.

Two guys have been arrested and Turner Broadcasting which owns Cartoon Network put out a statement apologizing. Apologizing for what, people being wracked with hysteria over nothing? This is another fucking example of this over-terrorization of America launched by our damned government. Our citizens are now scared of bright lights. The advertisement was for the ATHF movie which will be in theatres in a couple of months. Oh well at least they got some free press.
