The Story: The Scary Movie gang is back for the third installment in this spoof series, but this time they are no longer content to stick to the horror genre. Everything from “The Others” to “8 Mile” is poked fun at.

My Review: Well, like I said with my “Matrix Revolutions” review, I made sure not to read any reviews on the Internet for this movie. Nor did I listen to any reviews for that matter on TV. Although I must confess that late last night I read a few comments that some people here in The Void said in our very own forum. So what did I think about the movie you ask…well, lets just say it was MUCH better then people gave it credit for.

I found myself laughing at many parts in this movie. The whole “8 Mile” battle rap I considered funny, to the mocking of “The Ring”. Now was the movie kick ass? NO. Is it worth watching though, YES.

I never get why people go into this movie expecting anything, but stupid comedy. I really don’t. It just amazes me. When is everyone going to realize that the title “Scary Movie” really should stand for, “Stupid Movie” because that’s all it is. Infact that’s all it was ever intended to be.

I heard someone in the theater say that it was dumb that they killed off…..“insert certain character here”. And I’m thinking, NO…what’s dumb is the white little boy getting his ass kicked around and murdered the whole movie and still coming back as if nothing happened. See that to me is dumb. I don’t mind that they killed off, “insert certain character here” because if they wanted too they could bring “insert certain character here” back. See? Oh and did I mention that the little boy was mocking the little boy from The Ring? Well, he was and it was funny. Especially because he over did his telepathic powers which was suppose to be a “spoof” people. Its like a joke.

Scary Movie also had Leslie Nielson in it. Tell me, when has this man done a non “Stupid Movie”? That in itself should tell you how this movie was portrayed and going to be. Scary Movie 3 also had cameos by Macy Gray which is the most annoying person on TV. I cant stand her. It also had Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Eddie Griffin, Queen Latifah etc. c’mon do I even have to go on? This is a ridiculous cast here the movie was meant to be “Stupid”. I bet people didn’t know that they used Pamela Anderson for her large breasts. Well, now you know (Sarcasm).

Final Thoughts: There isn’t much I could say about this movie except that I laughed in some parts and other parts I considered real stupid and dumb. But then again, my friend said the same thing and HE laughed the entire movie. Take that as you will. If you seen Scary Movie 1 and 2 I say why not see part 3. And if you only seen part 1, you could still see part 3 because once again this movie is, “Stupid” and doesn’t have anything to do with the other parts. I definitely miss the Waynes Brothers because I think the movie could of been more funny, but under the circumstances Scary Movie 3 was what I expected it to be. Real dumb, but you have to take that in an ok sort of way seeing as that’s the bases of the movie.

Extra thoughts: I don’t know if it was just me, but I didn’t realize them showing Eddie Griffin and his “I’m prophesizing” line. Weird….why do movies do that. I hate when they cut shit out of movies. Its probably going to be in the DVD extras. Who knows. Also believe it or not the girl from the Ring was STILL kind of creepy even though it was suppose to be stupid comedy. I don’t know that little girl is freaky to me and I don’t mean that in a good sexy way.
