Now that the complete roster eval is done I have a couple of other guys I want to wax intellectual about, let thee edumacation begin....

The Rock - Well his name still appears on the WWE website but supposedly his contract is up and neither side is looking to sign a new deal. Is this smart for the WWE, hell no!!! Even if you have to pay him a couple mill to do a guest spot every so often it is worth it. The guy is poised to take over the action throne from that has been vacant since Sly did "Judge Dredd" and Ah-nuld turned Governator. Let's face facts WWE'rs The Rock is never going to be a fulltime wrestler ever again unless the government outlaws movies.

For The Rock it makes sense not to sign a contract, why get tied to down and forced to make several appearances on WWE TV if you don't want to or don't need to. I would imagine that he will be back on WWE TV every so often on a pay per appearance basis to provide a boost for the WWE and get some good old fashioned publicity for his latest movie. Right now The Rock has 7 movies on the horizon including the video game adaptations "Doom" and "Spy Hunter" and the live action version of the animated "Johnny Bravo".

Brock Lesnar - After he left the WWE to pursue his dreams of a pro football career I really thought he had some guts to leave a multi-million dollar contract on the table to chase a dream. Sadly he can't tackle as well as he can fake fight. So after his short lived football career is dead and buried he tucked tail and tried to get back into the WWE. The WWE being led by the vengeful pricktator Vince McMahon basically tells him to go scratch his ass.

Brock has a family and was a huge draw so he figures he can work a limited schedule and get paid pretty well. While it does kind of suck that he would get some concessions that older guys that paid their dues didn't get he did carry that company on his back for a good time. He is a young guy who is capable of being the top guy in the company and is due some respect but of course anyone who demands anything from Vince isn't getting shit. So until Brock curtails his wants he is out of wrestling and Vince is out a top level guy.

So the WWE draft is looming large and wait you know what who fucking cares? The "most sensational thing that's ever been done in this business" as Vince calls it is a fucking sham. It is a way for the non-creative creative team to fix their blunders and move guys around. It's like they are saying "Hmm we need this Raw guy to fight this Smackdown guy and we can't think if an angle, oooooh how bout the draft?". It's fucking stupid and let's remember the original WWE draft was when the Dudleys were split apart so is it really that great? Also it's been done before so why is it being treated as like it's something new and revolutionary?

The WWE inducted a couple of geezers into their fake Hall of Fame before Wrestlemania and I have a couple of things to say about that and it goes a little something like this, hit it...

"Cowboy" Bob Orton, Paul Orndorf, Nikolai Volkoff and the Iron Sheik; I am amazed that these guys are still alive since the average life span of a wrestler is pretty short. I remember all of these guys but have nothing good or bad to say about them, who cares about Paul Orndorf, really? He is one of those guys you mention if you want to sound smart but no one ever really like him. The other guys deserve induction because the H.O.F. is for a fake sport, who can't get into this Hall? For that matter what are the guidelines for eligibility?

Jimmy Hart still looks the same as he did 20 years ago, Thank God they didn't let him start talking because I still hate hearing from him. I can't tell you how many times I dreamed of sticking that bullhorn up his ass and not because I get my jollies that way.

I have to say it was funny when Ric Flair said that the WWE Hall of Fame is more important than Cooperstown, home of the baseball HOF, (Thanks Doc) or any other sport's Hall of Fame. I am sorry but where do you go to visit this imaginary HOF? I still have a great deal of love for wrestling but it doesn't need a Hall of Fame, it's a fake fucking sport, stop trying to pretend it's real. The inductees in the HOF are only the guys who have maintained a good relationship with the WWE. Doesn't Randy Savage deserve induction? How about Bruno Sammartino or Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart, Owen Hart even Jim Neidhart? There are a ton of great older guys that deserve to make it, just listen to a Flair promo about the old days and you can pick a name at random and induct him. If however a HOF for the WWE made any sense I agree that these guys deserved induction, well all except Orndorf.

I may hate Hulk Hogan but I agree he is the biggest name in wrestling history. My main problem with Hulk Hogan is simple and is exemplified by a comment he made during a promo that went something like this "You know what Mean Gene, when I'm old and gray and need to sit out, I'll let one of the young Hulkamaniacs take over" and I'm sure there was a "brother" or two somewhere in there. It was a nice idea, unfortunately he grabbed at the spotlight way past the time his hair went gray, his skin turned to orange leather and he was eligible for Social Security. Listening to him speak at the induction ceremony I felt like a Hulkamaniac again, I was glad to see him again but I wished he would just stay the fuck out of a ring. Wrestlemania night, guess who is there in the ring, fucking Hulk Hogan. I think I realize that Terry Bollea is less Hulk Hogan and more Hollywood Hogan.

Would someone please just shut Roddy Piper the fuck up? What an embarrassing human being he is. First off he correctly aims his rage at Vince McMahon for promoting steroids and not helping out guys who got him to the top. He expressed his extreme sadness over the passing of his friends in the industry and now he is back with the WWE kissing up to Vince again. Every time he gets fired he goes on HBO or NWA-TNA and blames Vince for everything then goes back to Vince and blows him again.

I have lost all respect for him; I truly think he is a piece of shit. The worst part of his self serving bullshit speech was when he made a joke about HBO. A couple of years back he was interviewed by HBO and made himself seem to be quite depressed, suicidal and fed up with the wrestling biz. Then when he went back to the WWE and Vince who had his own run in with HBO's Bob Costas Roddy changed his tune and said he was a victim of bad editing. The interview aired two days before Vince fired Piper the last time supposedly because of "self destructive behavior" but the rumor around the Net was that Vince was pissed at some of the less flattering things Piper had to say about him. Piper then went to NWA and shot on Vince and called him a number of unflattering things which were probably true. Now he is back and blowing Vince's sack again.

Over his career Roddy Piper has appeared to be severely mentally unstable but he had a point that Vince used a lot of people to get to the top and then dumped them without a second thought. A lot of these guys struggled with drug addiction and were just fired instead of being counseled. I know Vince is running a business but it is a business unlike any other and the culture of drug abuse is prevalent but McMahon values the buck over the person time and time again. I am ashamed of Roddy Piper because I felt that if there was one guy that would stand up for his fallen "brothers" it would be him but he just pissed all over their graves. Fuck him.

So enough Piper slamming how do you curb the usage of drugs by wrestlers and the usage of wrestlers by McMahon. I believe that wrestling needs to unionize. If they set rules for hiring, firing, salaries and so on there will be serious downsides such as the possibility of a strike but at least the wrestlers could have health plans that include rehab opportunities. A great benefit of unionization would be that McMahon's power would be limited and he couldn't steamroll whoever he wants. The life of a wrestler is hard and no one really helps them, they only take what they need and then fuck them over. By they I mean Vince McMahon.

Next fucking topic, the WWE struggles in the wake of completely taking over the world of pro wrestling. This is no new headline, I think I had something like this written as soon as ECW folded and expanded on it when WCW went down. Competition breeds success, it is true in business, in sports, in anything. If no one is there to push you to do better you are just going to be content in the role you occupy. When I first started playing basketball I was in my mid-teens and played mostly with the scrubs until a friend told me the only way I would get better is to play with the best of the best. Sure it was hard at first and I had a lot of bad games but I started evolving and maturing. A couple of years later I am set to join the FIU basketball team as a backup point guard but sadly I blew out my knee. The moral of the story is that without challenging myself I would not have known the little success I had. Even when it comes to this column writing biz, before I came and challenged the columnists everyone wrote glorified wrestling results and passed them off as columns. I hit and got big and all the sudden people started going head up with me and growing personalities. I may never get the recognition I deserve but the columnists I inspired (who won't admit it because they are shallow pricks) know without The Robb the game would be boring. I am every columnists personal Lord and Master, I am The Godfather of this game.

Competition will be the redemption of the WWE, however without a good TV deal NWA ain't going nowhere and FOX has seemingly dumped the idea of starting a fed with Hogan being the centerpiece. The WWE can remedy this situation but it would take some creative maneuvering and a lot of bread but it would be profitable. I can 100% guarantee my scenario would work, here it is...

The WWE secretly invests in starting a new promotion. They give Paul Heyman a check for a couple million and some talent, let him reform ECW and fund them but don't let anyone know about it. Help them get a TV and PPV deal but beyond that be a silent partner. Let them run the company as they see fit. Infuse them from time to time with cash and let them establish themselves without imposing anything on them. No cross-promotion or angles between the companies. Let them grow and gain a following and let competition drive the programs. If no one knows that the competition is bullshit people will be interested, when the time comes move the second federation to Monday nights and begin the wars again.

On the outside it would appear that the new fed has nothing to do with the WWE which is the integral part of the plan, no one but the powers that be can be in on it. So now the WWE would own two separate promotions which would mean they would get two TV deals, two revenue sharing deals with PPV and separate merchandising profits. The costs of maintaining the two would be offset because they could eliminate the brand split and they have about the same amount of guys in two separate feds as they have now. The only cost would be booking two arenas and marketing but I am sure the profits would exceed the costs. I am no business major but it seems feasible, profitable and pretty farfetched because if it makes sense the WWE ain't gonna go for it.

I have been searching for columnists recently to take my place on Raw Attitude and in every single one I read I hear about how everyone loved ECW. That's bullshit, even at their prime the amount of people that wrote anything about them was minimal. Even the most "die hard" (according to them) ECW fans barely strayed away from blowing the WWE and bashing WCW. People need to remember if they are going to talk shit about their past they might want to delete their older columns. However being a bigger ECW fan than the other two promotions I quite frequently had more ECW talk in my columns than WWE or WCW crap. So I figure there is a little challenging in order here, I have created a short quiz to test your knowledge on all things ECW. Hopefully this separates the wannabes from the real O.G.'s, here we go...

ECW alum Shane Douglas has been contacting former ECW wrestlers to take part in an ECW Hardcore Homecoming reunion show to take place at the old ECW Arena on June 10th. Unfortunately the WWE will not allow any current WWE stars to participate and have begun to undermine Shane's efforts by planning their own ECW reunion PPV. Tommy Dreamer has begun to contact former stars like The Sandman and asking them to not only participate in the WWE sponsored and sanctioned event but to refuse Shane Douglas' offer. It seems the request is more than just a simple plea but it seems there is an underlying threat to wrestlers that if they appear on The Franchise's PPV they forgo any future with WWE. The talent scheduled to appear at Hardcore Homecoming are : Axl Rotten, Cyrus, Joey Styles, Jerry Lynn, Kid Kash, Jason, Terry Funk, Shane Douglas, Francine, Justin Credible, Tracy Smothers, Sabu, JT Smith, Johnny Grunge, Pitbull Gary Wolfe, Raven, Bill Alfonso, Sandman, and Todd Gordon.

I have a little more to say about Rhyno being released from the WWE. He was fired by the same company which is headed by a guy who bragged to Playboy about cheating on his wife and rehired a man who has beaten a couple of his wives. What fucking hypocritical cocksuckers these people are, I bet if it was someone who was a main eventer he would have received a stern talking to or a raise. It just isn't right.

Now for some NWA-TNA stuff...I like their promotion, there is a lot to like, AJ Styles as a champ for one and Jeff Jarrett as a perennial challenger or champion. First Styles, the guy is flat-out well I am not being original using his nickname, Phenomenal. As for Jarrett the guy's father owns the promotion but you can't say this guy is only champ due to nepotism. I love TNA's X Division; it is a perfect example of just what cruiserweights can bring to a promotion. Christopher "Fallen Angel" Daniels was a WWE reject who labored on the Indy circuit for years and now he is getting a huge break as their X Division Champ. I rarely catch their weekly syndicated show because the network it is on moves it around constantly.

According to Jeff Jarrett Spike TV and a couple of other networks may be interested in airing a weekly show. Man I really hope this comes to fruition because the news I have been hearing about NWA-TNA is not so cheery. Rumors of backstage mutinies and the like came spewing from the lips of Kid Kash following his release. Dusty Rhodes' booking practices have been called into question by most of the roster. Buyrates have been steadily mediocre and really how long can they keep going without a TV deal?

Rumors of their demise have been overstated, despite losing the phenom Kid Kash they have recently reached accords with CM Punk, Samoa Joe, The American Dragon, Ultimo Dragon and Jushin Liger. Former WWE divas Molly Holly, Gail Kim and (diva?) Jazz will also be making appearances in NWA-TNA in the near future. Dusty Rhodes has apparently been removed from the booking squad which may facilitate business and allowing the product to focus on its younger talent instead of old fucks like DDP, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. UPDATES AHOY!!! 5/27 - TNA's Fox Sports deal has expired and all future TNA TV tapings have been cancelled until the Monday after the next PPV Slammaversary. TNA has signed a deal with WGN to broadcast between 8-10pm on Monday nights placing it against RAW. I am not sure of what the availability of WGN is so this might not be a good thing.

Now it's time for the return of another classic Drop the Mic, brought to you once again by the good folks at Hooked on Phonics who remind you as always that "Reading is in fact fun-dumb-mental". Joining them as co-sponsors our friends at Dixon Nuts "Dixon Nuts, you'll love to put these nuts in your mouth". Enough business, time to shine the light on the people that I think should really drop the mic, pick up some thread and sew their fucking mouths shut...

First up this evening is good ole reliable Ric Flair, was it just me or did this guy seem drunk at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony? He was all over the place telling tales of lore and then mumbling quite unintelligibly. Please Flair we all know you are dedicated to wrestling until your breasts reach the floor but when you start getting senile it might be time to step aside or at least assume the role of Head of Talent like another Alzheimer's case Jim Ross.

I tested a theory this week and I have to let you in on it because it will explain my next Drop the Mic award winner, the wrestling news and rumors community. I emailed an old rival of mine under an anonymous email and reported a made up rumor that the WWE was releasing Matt Hardy,. This was not a real rumor, I just made it up to gauge his response. I got an email back saying thank you and what do you know it made the newsboard on his site. Now I was journalism major for about a day and even I know that you always at least get two sources before posting a news story. These jackass news and rumors people will write anything to get attention even if it is a bold faced lie. Most of what is submitted as reliable information actually comes from the minds of these impotent assholes. Since this guy is not the only one to have done this I emailed him back saying I was mistaken and the story was removed. I do have a conscience people but I wanted to test my theory and I was correct. So news and rumors people please SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!

The final Drop the Mic award goes to me, this column is too fucking long and I have too much great shit in the works at The Void (The Void)to be wasting my time writing about wrestling again, it's like taking a big step backwards for me.

Well that is it for me; I'd love to give you a schedule for my next edition, maybe next week, maybe next year. Who knows when the urge will strike me again? So I humbly leave you, I am the originator, the one and only intellectual giant in a world filled with mental midgets. I am your personal savior and pontiff, I am The Robb, and may WAR be with all of you.

"The return is complete, don't be afraid or wet the sheets. I still have the crown I make all the pretenders lay down. So don't fuck with me or you'll be in the shit. You might as well stop typing and quit. I'll disconnect your life support, cut off your electric, make you wonder just how I got so sick. So move far and stay away from the Net or you might do something you'll regret. Until I feel like coming back, I'll remain the man you want to be, it's me, it's me that R-O-Double B".
